This is the home where Anne Frank lived as a little girl in Frankfurt, Germany.  Her father moved his family to another home in Frankfurt trying to keep his family safe and then to Amsterdam.  His family was discovered and deported east by the Nazis to concentration camps three weeks before the Allied troops entered the city.
