Our conference was similar to our hike.  We left our daily work for two days in order to see the big picture of missionary work.  Humanitarian missionaries serve the country, teaching neonatal resuscitation, supporting hospitals, schools, orphanages, building clean water projects, etc.  Proselytizing missionaries share the gospel.  Leader support strengthens the branches, wards.  Seminary teachers teach the youth.  Young men are prepared for missions.  Young Single Adult centers teach Institute and support the young adults.  Can you see all of the support for the young?  Then they grow up and strengthen their own branches and wards.

Elder Russell M. Nelson is over the Balkans.  The Junckers were in Macedonia when he came to dedicate the land for missionary work.  Elder Juncker shared how Elder Nelson took his arm and pointed toward the sunrise.  He said that it was a special experience.

Elder Volz (a Young Single Adult Center missionary) later added that in a way, we are all "Elder Nelsons"--to our new converts, our seminary students, our young adults.  We take their arms and show them the way.
