L.D.S. Charities supported the Red Cross of Montenegro by donating wipe boards, heaters, bookshelves, and books to the Roma kindergarten. The Roma are refugees from the Bosnian War living in a camp outside of Podgorica. They do not speak Montenegrin. The picture books and wipe boards are to aid the teachers as they teach Montenegrin words and phrases to kindergarten children. As the children learn Montenegrin, they may integrate into the public school system with more hope for success.
At the presentation, the children sang and recited part of their Roma Celebration to be held April 6th.
