December, 2012--Christmas Moments

On December 22, 2012, we attended the L.D.S. Albanian District Christmas Concert.

The concert was held in the museum behind me.

After the concert, this lady came and visited with me.  I didn't understand a single word of her Albanian.  An elder translated that she has been a member 16 years and has been to the Frankfurt Temple 10 times.

On December 20th our women's club gave gifts to disabled children and youth.  A Montenegrin singer (famous throughout former Yugoslavia) sang with a blind girl.

First, he put his arm on her back for support.

As they were singng, he handed her the microphone, so we could hear her.

At the end of the song he stopped singing and let her finish the song.  She had a beautiful voice.  Hearing him sing was amazing.  Hearing her sing was amazing.  Watching him be so kind to her was the most memorable of all.

.  .  .  handing out the gifts.
