Today we handed out hygiene kits to the Roma kindergarten children at the Refugee Camp.
You would have thought it was Christmas.
See the older children peeking in the window at the excitement? Not all of the kindergarten children are back in school. They have to travel a little further to come since the fire. As more come, they will also receive their hygiene kits . . . shampoo, soap, tooth brush, tooth paste, a small towel, and a special shampoo for lice.
These girls are drawing houses with colorful windows.
This girls is writing her Cyrillic letters. They learn Cyrillic letters before their Latin letters. If you transated the line she is writing, it would translate into: V, R, V, D, V, . . . Hurray for the Montenegro Red Cross!!!
What beautiful little faces! What a humbling experience that must have been. We have so much in America and are so very blessed. What a great thing to be a part of this! Thanks for sharing these photos!
