Komanski Most is a public institution for children and adults with moderate and severe disabilities in intellectual development. (picture taken in Oct.)
When we came in October, the gal on the right wanted her picture taken. The lady on the left was the psychologist that gave us her vision of a learning room for the patients.
Monday, Feb. 25th, we were invited to a closing ceremony for our project. Several organizations were honored for their donations (a press conference).
The director (on the right) is showing the minister of social welfare and labor (in the center) the updated facilities.
L.D.S. Charities donated equipment for a "vision and hearing stimulation room" for the disabled. Behind us is a maxi bubble tube. It is surrounded by acryllic mirrors.
Now the bubble tube is red. On the left is another psychologist holding a flashing rainbow knot ball. Elder Schouten is also looking at one. Rada in the doorway is our translator.

The bean bag chair is a musical positioning cushion. I imagine that everytime you change position, you hear new music. The two pillows are vibrating pillows.
A projector shows colors on the wall and plastic strands give a waterfall of color. This stimulation actually calms the participants and improves their well being.
L.D.S. Charities helped provide the food for the closing ceremony. It is popular Montenegrin food--meats, cheese and light pastries.
Thank you to our missionaries for finding this project for us.
