April 29th:  Elder Blackburn wanted to see Ostrog Monastery.  We dropped the elders off here.
. . .and they hiked to the top.

April 30th:  L.D.S. Charities donated towels, sheets, and this washing machine to the homeless shelter.  This hard working, selfless lady in charge is a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

May 6th:  Gorica is a little mountain in Podgorica with walking paths.  Milica walked with us and gave us a Montenegrin education.

The trees on Gorica were all destroyed during WWII (bombed).  This growth is all since WWII.  The school children plant the trees.  When Milica was a little girl, the trees she planted are now the tall ones.  The new trees were planted recently.

. . .a black bee . . .

. . .a view of the new Millenial Bridge in Podgorica . . .

. . .a monument to the Partisans who fought for freedom against the Nazis in WWII. . .
Milica's uncle died as a Partisan.

The boots  . . .

. . .and the cap show that Partisans were common village people.

After our hike, Milica took us to the Niagara Restaurant.  Craig took this picture of the river.  He didn't know what we were looking at. . .

This is what we were looking at.

Craig getting sprayed . .  .

Inside the restaurant Craig took a picture of the fish.

We had yogurt.

. . .a close up . . .

. . .our view of the ducks . . .

It is just an amazing retreat on the outskirts of Podgorica.
