This is the Director of the Women's Safe House. The Women's Safe House helps women who come out of abusive relationships or otherwise need an immediate safe place to live. This service has been in operation for 14 years and has helped 5,000 women over that time. The director just gave her staff a few days off for the holiday, so she has had some sleepless nights helping women by herself. L.D.S. Charities provided a mini stove, grill, toaster and kettle for the Safe House. It also provided two wardrobes, a couch/bed, a hanger rack (in picture) and three chairs.
Remember the German gal at the Christmas Bazaar that was expecting twins? She is back with her healthy six week old boy and girl (girl is in the blue blanket).

I didn't have the heart to distract the mother and ask for a picture.
I'm sorry I don't know the weights (wasn't in pounds and ounces).
This was taken at a meeting before the Wheelchair Training. Goran (on the left) is over logistics for the Montenegro Red Cross. Natasa (second from left) is over international affairs for the Red Cross. They did all of the preparation for the training (assembling the wheelchairs, transporting them to the training site, inviting the participants from each local Red Cross office, arranging for people to be fitted for wheelchairs on the last day and inviting the Ministry of Health to attend the closing.) Then at the training they blended in and were hardly noticed.
This is Elder Schouten and Elder Brown back in November looking at the Zeta River. They needed a place for a baptism. I think they thought the river might warm up if they looked at it long enough. They finally gave up. Elder Schouten came home and called hotels trying to find a place for a baptism. As the only one that could speak the language, he has carried the Church through its first year.
Elder Schouten's first birthday in Montenegro--April 30, 2012.
Elder Schouten's second birthday in Montenegro--April 30, 2013.
Elder Schouten has been in the same location for 14 months. He has had two birthdays here. May 4th was his two year mark on his mission. He will have served a 25 month mission. He goes home May 29th.

Nice post. Good idea getting these things written down! Elder Schouten is a real trooper. I hope I get to meet him sometime.
