With Elder Schouten leaving, we have had several farewell dinners.
Father, Nephew, Srecko (investigator), Elder Schouten
Saturday Srecko invited the elders and us over for his birthday dinner. Srecko's father made delicious goulash. Father is giving Elder Schouten the recipe. Srecko is writing it down.
Natasa (Srecko's sister, mother of the darling boy in the picture above) and Srecko (wearing Elder Blackburn's glasses for fun). . . About ten years ago Natasa and Srecko took first place in karate for all of Yugoslavia. If karate had been a sport in the Olympics, they would have participated.

Dusanka gave me this doily made by her mother.
Dusanka is showing me a tablecloth that both she and her mother cross stitched. Dusanka is our strongest member. She plans to be worthy to go to the Rome temple in a year.

Milica (investigator) and Vaselj also gave Elder Schouten gifts. He saw everyone except Ernad. Ernad will be sad when he returns.
. . .a nice farewell . . .

Nice post. Poor Ernad. I was going to send a satchel as a parting gift for Ernad so he can carry all his books.
